Study in Great Britain together with British students at
St. John’s on the Hill
International Language Academy “Aspect” would like to offer you the opportunity to send your child to study in one of the leading schools in Great Britain: St. John’s on the Hill, which is located in Chepstow, near the border of Wales (http://www.stjohnsonthehill.co.uk).
While at St. John’s, your child will talk with the British pupils, and also attend their lessons, including English, mathematics, history, geography, science, design, drama, music, art, Spanish and PE.
After lessons the children will have the opportunity to take part in various sports activities offered by the school, which has its own pool, gymnasium, and sports fields.
On the first day at St. John’s on the Hill, each student will be tested by staff and placed in the appropriate class with a British pupil who will take them to lessons and help them throughout the day.
Along with study in the classrooms, students will have the chance to go on various excursions (selected by the parents): Gloucester Cathedral, Gloucester Folk Museum, Tintern Abbey, Raglan Castle, Big Pit – underground tour of a coal mine, Cheddar Caves, or Wookey Hole, Warwick Castle, Windsor Castle, Stratford, Cardiff, Techniquest, and a trip to London.
Your child will always be under the supervision of qualified teachers from the British school who are caring and attentive to a child’s needs, and they are always ready to help a child when necessary.
The children will live in a comfortable dormitory.
We offer trips of two weeks during autumn vacation, two weeks during spring vacation and three weeks in June.
The cost for a two week stay is approximately 1900 pounds, which includes: study in the school, room and board, sporting events, excursions, transfer to and from the airport and supervision by teachers from ILA Aspect.
Additional costs include: visa, insurance, document translation into English and air fare.
A trip to St. John’s on the Hill will help your child overcome the language barrier and converse freely as children are immersed in English, where there are no immediate translators available and they learn to converse in a real life setting, and not just in a classroom.
